Event Calendar - 2011
I've updated the calendar to reflect the dates for next year's SCCA Solo Nationals, and ProSolo Finale, along with the Convention.
Also please disregard the "phantom" event for 2012. Thread is locked until the regional calendar dates are finalized by the next 2 (Oct., Nov.) meetings.

Re: Event Calendar - 2011
Thread is now UNLOCKED. Calendar has now been updated for 2011. All dates are confirmed (though subject to change by the venue to us at any time), unless otherwise stated (i.e. National Tour, ProSolo for Cal Club, San Diego Regions, etc...). I've included non-SCCA events as well (i.e. Lone Pine Time Trials, FSAE Competition).

Re: Event Calendar - 2011
Thanks for the update Gio. Just wanted to point out to everyone (never to early to start promoting) that the July 16/17 event at El Toro is a Novice School! Yep, a two-day novice school at El Toro. The perfect place to do large layouts of various elements and not get crowded.

Re: Event Calendar - 2011
Thanks for getting this up so quickly this year, guys! My wife is a calendar junkie and schedules 3-4 months out, so this is greatly appreciated.
Out of curiosity, what's the one-day event on 7/30? School of some kind?

Any chance of getting the Google Calender updated, too. Or is that only Mike that did that?

It was setup by Mike S. and given access to a few people. It's up to him to grant you access or if he'd make it public. But I won't speak for Mike so I'm sure he'll chime in.

I'm confused. The Google calendar has been up to date - it is what Gio used to update the solo2 calendar.Rick Brown wrote:Any chance of getting the Google Calender updated, too. Or is that only Mike that did that?

Make sure you have the 2011 LA SCCA Calendar selected. It is easy to unselect and that pulls it from the view.Rick Brown wrote:I don't see any 2011 events on it. I use gCal constantly and spend a lot of time imputing all the autocross dates, etc. Is there a gCal for our group that is public?

Not at this time. When we do the site redesign (in planning stages), would that be something people are interested in? An importable calendar?Adrian Covert wrote:I use gCal constantly and spend a lot of time imputing all the autocross dates, etc. Is there a gCal for our group that is public?
Maybe even one with the dates patently listed so you don't have to figure out what they are by way of something else?

Re: Event Calendar - 2011
Hmmm. El Toro event in March and Speedway event in September. Would be better the other way round given typical September weather.

Re: Event Calendar - 2011
El Toro in March to prepare for Tour/Pro Solo. WRT September, well, there are only so many open days to book. For example, ET is booked solid from our Norton event all the way through December.Bob Beamesderfer wrote:Hmmm. El Toro event in March and Speedway event in September.
