My mistake Cam. I think I hear the shredder warming up...

Just kidding. When you aren't driving, I encourage grabbing rides with other drivers. You're going to be working your way up a steep learning curve.

If you can get a ride with Mike, you'll need an E ticket. He usually drives a wicked-fast BMW M3, but since he's co-driving at nationals later in the week, I'm guessing he'll be driving the Schenkermobile (flat black fast-as-crap Miata). Hard to go wrong riding in either one.

I rode with Reijo at the last El Toro event & Wow! Image

Thing is I'm not gonna just walk up to strangers & ask for rides. :?
I'm hoping to meet lots of you, so I dont feel the need to be so shy.

Yeah, but walking up to strangers and asking for rides is he best way to do it, Most people are very willing to give anyone a ride. There are going to be a couple people out there that wil say that they are testing or something like that but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't have asked.

Don't forget you're a fellow CSCC and Team Blew member now. You might not want to tell everyone you're with Team Blew ... :? ... on the other hand, there will be 12 of your fellow club members out there to give you rides. Have some experienced members drive your car also. No use just repeating your mistakes ... accept that you aren't the fastest yet and learn from those that are.

Well, if you want to see how NOT to drive, I'd be happy to give you a ride ;-) I have the big-a$$ white Infiniti G35 sedan.

As long as your not wearing weird sunscreen. Has anyone else had their interior turn blue after giving someone a ride?

Try a de-greaser like Greased Lightning. Normal interior cleaners won't do it. I've used it on leather with similar success.

Yeah, but don't tell them your name is Cam. Tell them you're Bruce or Elroy.

And definitely don't mention Team Blew. :P }:) ;)

Ladies and Gents,

I corrected the list for some errors and responded via e-mail to the PMs. I will be providing a list of alternates by tomorrow evening and the work group assignments no later than Thursday evening.

Um, I can't speak for Mike, but given that we're prepping for National's and he needs seat time (as well as my regular co-driver, Chris Adams) and given that passengers affect the balance, braking and feel of the car quite a bit, this weekend won't be good; hit me up at another event, if you wish!
