uh-oh... Mako is starting to talk about superchargers and Street Mod. :ibrightdea:
Certainly could be an option for next year when the Vette starts to hit the track for TT.

No, Mako -- you do NOT need to supercharge your new Miata! ...cuz now it's my turn to take it to the track
hmmmm... it is no longer "new" -- is it time to get faster?

Karen.
Tell Mako to hit me up on it. I was the beta tester for Rotrex Miata.
I did time attack with it for over 2 years. I don't recommend supercharge (for track use) anything other than Rotrex

I thought this one gets good reviews ... but not pushing too hard ... just say, 200 hp

Mako, you want this

I drove Williams, along with several other peoples. Power of a turbo, but response of the supercharger.

That for autocross would be a total waste of time and money. It would be gutless in the mid and lo rpm range compared to a PD blower (Eaton, Whipple, etc.) running same peak HP.Michael Eguina wrote:Mako, you want this

It is nowhere even close to a turbo - turbos when done properly have huge mid and lo rpm range torque, more torque than PD blowers.

I only ever drove them on autocrosses. Low and midrange felt great, and there was much less top end loss than from an entry level supercharger.
