Looks like there's been a shift of pretty much every class up. The only class that went down looks to be BSP and a handful stay the same (ES, FSP, SMF, GP, EM, FSAE). Everyone else went up.

For our local RTR fun, I think I know who we'll be chasing next year *looks at Matt*. He goes from a 2012 BS PAX of 0.843 to a 2013 FS PAX of 0.830.

For our local "fun" RT classes ... will they at least informally run together, even if the results are split up? Perhaps there could be a local RT Combined Championship?

It'd have to be voted on by the eBoard. I'm going to request that at least RTA and RTF be allowed to run together, since neither will be very well subscribed. RTR should have no problems making class, in fact, I'm pretty sure the fields will be bigger than either SK1 or SK2.

A Super RT Championship would be a nice weighty achievement, but all of the RT cars would have to run together for it to be fair, which I can imagine might be a run group issue.

You need to be more specific on the "A" initial. Aing in BS S2000, Albin in CS Solstice (and I think he needs to run in PAX). }:)

Good point! I was talking about Tim Albin, who has absolutely decimated the rest of the field the last two events (the first two he's run in SK2).

Actually, I meant not just run with each other but against each other (like CPM unless one of the prep/mod classes makes a full class). That would have to go to the eBoard, right?

^ Isn't that called STF :D

Kinda surprised with the bump to STF, I don't think there has been enough fully developed cars to make the claim yet.

Since I'm a nerd I calculated the differences. These are 2013 PAX minus 2012 PAX. Positive means that in 2013 the PAX is higher than it was in 2012.

Code: Select all

SS	0.001 SSP	0.006 XP	0.003 AM	0
AS	0.003 ASP	0.003 BP	0.005 BM	0.002
BS	0.002 BSP	-0.001 CP	0.002 CM	0.004
CS	0.001 CSP	0.004 DP	0.006 DM	0.003
DS	0.005 DSP	0.004 EP	0.005 EM	0
ES	0 ESP	0.001 FP	0.002 FM	0.004
FS	0.005 FSP	0 GP	0 FSAE 0
GS	0.002
HS	0.005 STF	0.001 SM	0.001 KM	0.003
					 STC	0.004 SMF 0 JA	0.003
					 STS	0.002 SSM 0.002 JB	0.008
					 STR	0.004 JC	-0.004
					 STX	0.005
					 STU	0.005
Average was 0.0026 across all classes. If your PAX went up 0.002 or lower, you made out better than average, and if it went up 0.003 or higher you took it in the shorts relative to the average.

Did you remove AM when calculating the avg?

Bobby-

You only need one developed car or a clear indication of what is possible. STF has that. But its still insanely soft. Bumped .001 means it actually went down. Everything is tied to AM which can't change. AM got slower. KJ!!! Get to work.

So a 40 year old car wins CM at nationals, a class with zero margin for increasing it's performance through new technology or rules changes, and it gets a big pax hit, but EM's index functionally goes down. Did I miss something?
