Course setup workers needed!

Post by Mike Simanyi »

I'm hoping we'll be able to set up Friday afternoon for this weekend's event. I'd like three setup workers Friday to help, and this will satisfy your full Saturday work requirement. If you can help Saturday evening with the course changes for Sunday, that will take care of your Sunday work assignment as well.

Assuming we get permission from the track to be there, I'd like to meet at 2:00. If you'd like to volunteer for the position please post here or contact me directly via email: msimanyi at gmail dot com.

Thanks!

George, buy that boy some glasses. Actually, that may make him too fast in your car!

Bump for updates.

People, we'll be losing drive time on Saturday if we don't get some volunteers together to set up Friday afternoon.

I really recommend helping with course set-up if you can, especially from a master like Mike!

You will learn about some of the fine points of auto cross by being involved with course set-up.

I'd help, even though I'm already doing Chief of Waivers, but I need to pick up german friends at the LAX mid day.

O.K., fine. if I don't have to work Friday (not scheduled to so far) I'll help. But please, can we finish by around 5pm so I can have dinner with my wife before going off to an appointment later (sleep study at Hoag Hospital)?

We're certainly going to be done by sundown, which according to the Miracle Motorola RAZR HD Maxx and Sundroid app is at 5:36.

If we can start chucking cones at 2:00, I'd think we could all be done by 5:15 or so Bill. And if we don't have four people to help, my back won't let me do too much work so I'd say we'll set up Saturday morning and just have to bump back the start.

Thank you Ed!

Still looking for at least one more, preferably two. We never know if Bill will be called out for work...

I'll go out too. Can't let Eric and ED be the only ones doing double duty this weekend.
