Okay, I guess I'll start the fun. This was my first and, uncharacteristically, fastest run. Two things I screwed up were braking too much for the second to last turn and not braking enough for the last turn. Never got another good/clean run after that, unfortunately.

Great job Cyan! I should have asked to watch your video before I ran, I'm sure it would have helped.

Patiently waiting for Steve Abbott's video ... to see where he picked up the extra second. The less photos/videos I take, the faster I go. I'll be posting the four photos I took this weekend ... soon :idea:

Watching 10yo Cyan Kalman run 51.212sec in a restricted Junior B kart is amazing. I think this is the run of the day.

How many of you manly dudes in fast cars just got beat by a little girl? Morgan Trotter and I did in STC. And I saw a whole lot of people slower than us!

Since you asked: Raw Time Results 52nd out of 200. Also note where Kevin and Kencey in JA are.

I'm waiting too. Hodges has the video. Maybe this will hold you over till it comes. Saturday's run.

Man, someone was in the zone. her hands are super smooth on the wheel and confident with the gas. Meaning she obviously was doing a great job of looking ahead which is not easy to do at those corner speeds on a tricky course. nice work!

Here is the video from my first run:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVv_aYaf ... e=youtu.be" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It was announced as a DNF and the official results still show it as DNF. I can't see where I DNF'd, can you? On my second run I drove slower to try to see where I might be inadvertently going off course. To my surprise, on the second run the announcer said I hit 3 cones. I would have noticed if I had hit that many cones! Today I see that the 3 cone penalty was removed. (I kinda suspect that the Dodge Charger that started before me on both runs might have reaped both penalties.) Sadly, this "mysterious DNF" on my first run, followed by the undeserved 3-cone penalty on my second run ruined my confidence and hence my pace for the remaining two runs. Oh, well, it was not my best day. :)
