There is something wrong with the page for selecting fees during registration. Anyone else having that issue?

Byron, it's GRA who apparently think it's still 1995. Mail in only - no online registration.Byron Goodman wrote:There is something wrong with the page for selecting fees during registration. Anyone else having that issue?

QV, SD Region just recently had their San Diego School and it had Online Registration ... Looks like we're all starting to move onto the next century and your need for a checkbook will be totally obsolete!Quoc-Viet Dang wrote:What am I gonna use my several hundred care bears checks for now? For anyone who has sent in a check, please register online. Easy Peasy.
Sorry about the mix-up guys. There was a misunderstanding on our end and the flier was posted in error. The errant flier was only up a short time so I assume it only affects a few. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

Re: May 25th Practice Registration Open
No shared entries. So what am I supposed to tell Stacey Miller. Sorry, Will and I are running. You're out?
Typical practice for us in a National level car with three national level drivers is to do some sort of testing with Will leading that chore. Stacey and I split a second entry to confirm or get used to the changes. If you tell us 12 laps per entry is the max, you can trust us. We're not kids who are looking to get 50 laps in. We're trying to do a very specific tire test. All three potential drivers are entered on Sunday. Other clubs don't have an issue. You'd think GRA would be the pro's at this. And you'd certainly think GRA would understand the needs of national level teams to tire test.
So, Seb. Please change Youth Steward to Stacey Miller.
Will and Stacey will be running the practice so I'm out since there is no sharing.
I'll go play golf at Pelican.

Re: May 25th Practice Registration Open
The first time Joey and I brought out the C-mod car was at a GRA event. We were nervous, had lots of unanswered questions, and frankly, we could barely launch the car. We had oil pressure overheating issues as well. I spoke to the GRA leadership personally and explained the situation to them. They were very gracious in granting us the leeway we needed address our unique circumstances. That day did not end well for us as many know, but I was grateful that GRA was so accommodating to our needs.
My recommendation to anyone with unique circumstances that fall outside of a club's normal operating procedures for a particular event is to contact the event master privately and explain the circumstances. While no guarantee that your request will be granted, most EM's are reasonable people who will make reasonable accommodation when they can.
