I had fun, but.....
It was so nice to come up to CalClub again. I really had a great time on fun course. But I was given a DNF my 1st and 4th runs. I was dirty on my 1st run so that didn't bother me, but the 4th was clean. I'll admit I had problems finding the course so I didn't say anything. I couldn't wait to get home a watch my runs. We'll I can't see where I screwed up. Please tell me where I did.
My 4th run, still removing some rust.

thanks
Steve
PS I like running when Max is announcing.

Sorry to break it to you, but you DNF'd at the 1:05 minute mark. You were suppose to go a little farther to the right and ended up missing 2 cones. Today had a big course and a lot of people had issues with DNF's as a result of it.

if you say so I still can't see it, my shaky camera mount doesn't help

Max doesn't know how Max should proceed anymore. Max is confused and scared.

Re: I had fun, but.....
At the 1:05 mark you are going thru a right turn element.
If you had continued further right and you would have seen the left turn element.
That led straight into the 7 cone slalom that you did turn left into at 1:08.
I hope that helps.

Re: I had fun, but.....
Bummer about the DNFs.
I want to thank you for your excellent work as corner captain/course radio. I saw you giving complete instructions and making sure your workers were in safe positions.
I especially liked "work the course as hard as you would want it worked for you".

Ah, that was you! I was working that corner. You actually DNF'd every run, and did the same thing every time. Whoever was working the radio in station 2 must not have noticed.

I thought I drove it the same way every time. I couldn't understand how 2 were DNF's and two weren't. Put me to the bottom of the class! I saw Bryan Heicotters in car vid and finally saw what I did wrong.
thanks

If it's not on the radio log, it didn't happen!Steve Coe wrote:Jake Stumph wrote:Ah, that was you! I was working that corner. You actually DNF'd every run, and did the same thing every time. Whoever was working the radio in station 2 must not have noticed.
