ive been gone for a while
ok ive been gone for a while and im wanting to get back in.... has anything changed? SCNAX still there?

Technically, SCNAX is still around, but it hasn't been very active.
Things are always changing, but I think you'll find the changes are for the good. You can buy X-runs at Championships for $25, and you won't even have to work an extra shift. If you don't feel like running in class, you can even buy your first set of runs Time Only and run in any group you prefer.
Points cards are reduced to $20 for 2009.
Depending on how long you've been gone, we had to raise our entry fees a small amount. It's $5 more to register at the event than pre-register (and pre-registration requires a points card right now.) Entry fees are listed on the event flyers.
SCCA requires all participants to be members, and they created Temporary Memberships that satisfy the requirement (thank the pesky lawyers...). The Temporary Membership costs $5 right now, but that's going up to $15 for drivers next year as National suggests. Your first two Temporary Membership certificates each entitle you to $15 off the annual SCCA membership fee for your first year.
I'm sure there are some other changes. These forums are a nice update...
