Hi All.
Had my first time autocrossing this past Saturday practice. I have a 96 Miata that's completely stock except for a roll bar (X bar) and seats from an NB.
I'm looking at participating in stock novice. Would the bar and seats happen to set me out of stock class?

Re: New Miata
Welcome!!!
Thank you for asking. We appreciate people who are considerate of the rules.
Bar: no, as long as it is bolted vs welded in.
Seats, technically yes, but no one is going to care on a local level.
- if you were to one day compete at the national level, with trophy potential, it will matter.

Re: New Miata
I wouldn't worry about it until way later on. I say just focus on coming to the event and having fun!

Welcome to the club! Did Annant rope you into this like he did to me? I regret nothing, nothing I tell you!
