Not sure. Attrition didn't seem that bad. We counted over 120 cars started on Sunday.

Re: wrx -> shifter kart?

Thanks for the update! This is a nice tread. I have a TAG Birel PRD for over a year...and haven't driven it yet. Good read cause I am abandoning putting it in the back of my SUV, no looking at the HF trailer.

Re: Lemons Experience

I hear you about the passing Aaron. Generally it was very clean on the track surprisingly. Couple cars didn't check their mirrors much. The only open passing experience I have had was at one kart race. Luckily the MR2 was very small so we can get passes done, even on the curbs. And yes, autocrossing...

Re: Tire Rack Link

I understand this tread was brought back from the dead and now completely off topic... I would like to defend Toyo on the "does not work on heavy cars." I believe they do work on heavy cars. My under prepared car is 3400lbs with the driver and I have done pretty well with the Toyo's. Just ...

No track miles on the tires, just show miles. The injection nipples are still on the treads.

They are old tires, so they have become harder. Located in Redondo Beach.

Re: Tire opinions

We picked up a non running MR2 from a kid trying to make it to a junk drifter. Let's say he has no mechanical ability, the entire head has either loose or stripped hardware. We currently have 14" wheels that came with the car and 16" wheels off another car. Both are horrible wheel choices ...

Re: Tire opinions

Tom,

Are you racing the December Buttonwillow event? I'll be racing the event in an MR2, Spirit of Toyota F1 v13.b6.

We're in a dilemma of tires too. Grip vs Endurance vs Cost. Will one set last the event?

Man their ride and handling course looks alot better than my company's.

I wouldn't doubt them closing up that track, CA is expensive and I've heard they like to consolidate to one US location.

Re: Head gasket BMW E36 M3 - who has done one?

I had a head gasket issue with my 1997 M3. Between cylinders 5 and 6 had a very small leak. I didn't have any milkshake symptoms, but my car would overheat just slightly during the summer months. I had SouthBay Independent check it out and they pointed it was the head gasket. Be careful, I believe y...
