Re: Minter Airfield with Fresno SCCA

Re: Minter Airfield with Fresno SCCA
I'm not their treasurer, but I do know that if they pull what they regularly do (40-50ish) at Minter, they will wipe out a significant portion of their reserves. Yes, Minter is that expensive.

Re: Minter Airfield with Fresno SCCA
I'll preface this by saying I'm not the "official" liaison to Minter Field. That is Ric Quinonez, and he is (almost) working alone with the March event. At this time I know that Fresno is working out logistics for the March event. The field presents a few challenges that they haven't had t...

Re: Potential Venue for SoCal/NorCal Annual Competition
Quite a few of us will be out there to scout the site this weekend. Definitely would like to see to others from CalClub come out. In speaking with the PCA organizer, they sweep the lot a few days before use, and the concrete is pretty good in terms of grip level. The paddock area used is paved (maps...

Tire Rack has a splash page for SSC that has a lot of information for you, too. See this link.

Re: 2017 Event Run Time Statistics
Kudos to you guys for really digging deep into the data and asking other clubs about their processes & run counts. I think an important point to look when you're comparing to inland and east coast is that they don't have cheap track days available outside of TNiA, nor an abundance of other clubs...

Re: Pics and Vids from 7/29 and 7/30 Event
I also really enjoyed the course, very good for a first design and most every element was clear from a visual standpoint. Crossover was in a good spot for overlap, the c-box was not tight or painful, good slalom spacing and nice use of sweeping offsets to take advantage of the limited space. It was ...
