Re: British Car mechanic in SFV, Glendale area

For future reference. Maybe someone who specializes in Triumph. Also will need a good engine rebuild in the future. Glendale, Pasadena, Burbank. thanks Chad, I have had great luck with David Anton at APT in Riverside---they are not mechanics but will rebuild your engine to what ever specs you want!...

Mako, I have a Power Caster (powercaster.com) unit that I bought when I had my boat. No more boat......only Power Caster left. It's in storage...I can't remember if it is one or two wheel. I paid about $1,000 for it. My area was flatter than yours. The key for you is grip up the hill. I'll check ov...

I tried three times to pay - no luck. :-( Could you explain what happens? As you register, it should take you to the payment section where you can choose either to pay by check or credit card. Even if on the final attendee list, you will not be charged until the day before the event. Once charged, ...

Ok, I have one car garage in a condo. Already own a boat, fishing gear, horses, and couple of bikes. With a tire trailer, two extra sets of wheels, 12 used tires in the garage. Wife can't get to her freezer after I put the trailer in there this week. I hope I don't need anything more to compete in ...

Not a rule, it's part of the etiquette of racing straight up and not taking advantage of mechanical issues. OTOH, pushing and shoving during the sprint to the finish are OK. And people talk about what a stupid sport soccer is. I got your etiquitte right here. :mrt: If it was like soccer, one of Con...

For those who know Mary Pozzi (multiple SCCA Solo championships to her credit), she was the winner of the open class both days of the event. There are some good pictures of her in her ride in both magazines. I had a chance to ride with her - and I was very impressed at how she made that Gen One Cam...

Charles, probably for about the same money as shipping and storing your car for the winter you could arrange a very good co-driver situation for you and your wife with one of the local drivers. A six month period from October thru March with a SoCal Nationally prepared S2000 or equivalent could be b...

Jeff, I bought some Team Dynamics rims a couple of years ago for my Mustang. Just went out to their shop in Ontario and talked to guy named Don and he ordered a special set of 17 x 8's and I got them about a month later, the black ones Pro Race 1.2, cost was $200 each. http://www.teamdynamicsracing....

I'm putting blame on Vettel entirely. If you're making the move, you have the responsibility to make it stick without creating an incident. Match Webber side-by-side and take the inside line. If you can't do that under braking on the dirty line, then you've chosen a bad place or a bad tactic and sh...

My main issue with this brand (I had one) is the two small buttons and teeny tiny icons that told you what the buttons were doing. Needed a magnifing glass to make sense out of it. Age/eyesight thing I guess, still. Just get a younger co-driver---QV can see the small icons!! But, on the other hand,...
