Re: For Sale: 2007 Honda S2000

So Jeff's AP2 is desirable All S2000s are desirable. IMO Jeff's car would be perfect for SK1 and a beautiful daily driver. Just show up to the event in a competitive car and drive back home. Not everyone wants to look like "Go Speed Racer" like me. (CR) Why do you think I am #500? Cuz #5 ...

Re: For Sale: 2007 Honda S2000

The CR version is the one I would really want. (But $ is also a big factor)

I think factory shocks will also leak at some point and require an aftermarket solution.

Re: For Sale: 2007 Honda S2000

AP-1 (2000-03)
AP-2 (2004-up)

I think the Coles have an AP-2?
AP-2 has 17 in wheels. i.e. better tire selection.
AP-1 has 16" wheels.

AP-1 suspension requires $
AP-2 suspension was good enough to win Nationals with just a front swaybar change. (CR version in 08)

Re: For Sale: 2007 Honda S2000

I think the AP-2 is a lot nicer and easier to drive than the AP-1. The AP-2 has more low end torque so you can pretty much leave it in second gear. The trade off is that you may have to go to third gear or ride the rev limiter alot. The AP-1 requires you to go down to first gear if you want to be in...

Re: SCNAX Cup Report

Team Dueces Wild had a fun time. First to last. From the begining to the end.

I would have loved to see a Nobel, Ferrari, GTR, and GT3 team. Team big bucks!

Looking forward to next year! If I get crappy PAX times it may just be me sand bagging. :unimpressed:

Car number question? One of our team members runs at San Diego and does not have a CSCC points card. His San Diego number is "834". (834 CSCC points card number is taken by Mario, who is not signed up for the SCNAX Cup.) Is there a problem with my team mate using "834" for the SC...

Re: October 24th 2009 SCNAX CUP is BACK!

I did the championship event in December last year, Pro-Solo at El Toro in 2009, and... shoot, a bunch of practice events. I would guess I don't qualify, even if the pro-solo event was equivalent to more than one event in terms of number of runs? On the other hand, I'm not a very experienced autocr...
