Re: Course Design Thank you

As far as I know, there were very few DNFs. And some of those were from good drivers that most likely over-drove a section. At the same time most people seemed to really enjoy the course. Minimizing getting lost and maximizing having fun, I would say, is a big success.

Thanks, Theo.

Yes. Many thanks to Gayle - and her family - for all the work they have done for so many years. We'll be praying for a successful surgery and quick recovery.

Thanks, Gayle!

Special Guest on 7/17

A good friend of mine has an uncle that raced Z cars in Socal for the last several years. Some of you may know him - Art Nadel. Well, Art had a stroke about a year ago that he wasn't supposed to recover from - but he did. Mostly at least. He still can't speak but a few words but he understands perfe...

Re: Wanted: A place to fill a nitrogen tank near me

Yeah, I got tank pressures and regulator pressures mixed up but the thought of pressures that high just seemed scary to me. My pelt gun does a 1000fps with just one pump so when you get up to the pressures we're talking about ....... blah, blah, blah.... it's my paranoid SSS side coming out. So one ...

Re: Wanted: A place to fill a nitrogen tank near me

I'll jump in here as well...... NO, NO, NO, that tank you bought is a max 450PSI which is typical for n-tanks used for tire inflation. That 4500psi tank is for guns (paintball) because it's being used in place of gunpowder! And like gunpowder, anything over 200 psi is pretty deadly in an accident. H...

Thanks to all the people that helped to make this event possible. It was a great event, well organized, better than some SCCA National Tour I have attended. Special Thanks to Mike Simanyi !!! These were the best 2 autoX courses I have driven in my life. I have been 3 times to the SCCA Nationals, an...

The totals have the index applied.

Pre-buy Inspection for a Porsche

I have a friend trying to buy a Boxster in the LaCanada area. Anyone know a good shop in that area to take a Porsche for inspection?

Thanks

Re: Music selections for video's

You have to be a bit careful with music even on YouTube. If any of you saw my tribute video to Craig a while back, I used a Joey Ramone song. YouTube stripped the audio off of it for copyright infringement. ????? It had like 100 hits. I have no idea why I got singled out because I hear copyrighted m...

It's a desktop. Perhaps I'm being too hard on Dell but you guys figured out the problem within a few posts where it took them literally months to figure it out. And the problem was ultimately their fault so they had better have sent a new box to me. Regardless of what this new problem is or whether ...

OK last, last words on this. Tonight the Dell blew up. Won't boot, won't boot from a rescue disc or a OS disc. I guess the HDD bit the dust. Too bad because it was working great since I added the sound card. Sooooooo, I would like to get some things off of it before sending it to recycling. Anyone k...

Re: Dell Hell

So I put an end to this madness and did the REAL obvious thing: I just bought a new sound card, bypassed the stupid built-in sound from the motherboard, and now I have audio again. Should have done this weeks ago. Stupid Dell wasted my time and their too. I'm glad time isn't money. Thanks to everyon...
