Re: Newbie, Saying Hello!

Hey Jorge, welcome to Cal Club Autocross! Many of our regulars are up in Nor Cal at a National event, or you would have gotten more welcomes sooner. Note that our next event is the day after the Speedventures one, so if the bug bites you real hard come to that, too! You can save a few bucks by signi...

Re: Rules Proposal - Octane

Derek, my first thought seeing your participation table was how many of those "new" people were first timers and how many simply switched from other classes?

Re: April 2018 Sunday Run Order

Sunday Run/Work order. Only 3 groups this time due to low turnout. Maybe a couple of extra non-competitive runs each, rather than fun runs. Under discussion.

Pete, please list Saturday workers so I know who to exempt from regular work assignments. Trying to work out work/run groups. Thanks.

Are you talking about local rules? Is that even in the required sections for regional events?

Shirts are already ordered, had to do that earlier today. But yes, there are some long sleeve, and some ladies V-neck style.

ProSolo T-Shirt

As usual, I'm doing the design at the last minute. Struggling with it, got it down to two, but can't decide, which do you prefer, left or right? Right side is a ripoff of the AutoClub Speedway logo. I'm leaning toward the left one, just can't make up my mind. (Only opinions provided in the next hour...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!

Hello. I'm new to this forum and autocross. I pre-registered for the 14-15 Apr practice and Championship event, and I'm really looking forward to it. I had a question about what vehicle class I should have selected during registration. I will be driving a 2018 Camaro SS 1LE. On the '8 Easy Steps' p...

Re: Whoo Hoo! The PRO Solo is Here!

Once both cars are staged, the Christmas tree light sequence is triggered (note: this is done manually by a guy sitting in a chair right there). Not exactly. Normally the lights are triggered automatically, after the countdown clock reaches zero and you hear a loud beep, it doesn't care if you are ...

There's a whole host of differences. - Tech (putting on the required stickers: tirerack, scca, etc) - assigned spot before the start (different for every session). - 4 runs (2 runs each side) each session - impound after your runs I think I'm forgetting some stuff but those are the ones that come t...

We normally would run at El Toro then, but they will not commit that far out at this time.

Re: First auto cross this weekend

Saturday's are designed to be an all day event. You usually run/work once in the morning and once in the afternoon, with a lunch break. Sunday, in our current format, is designed to end around 1pm for the competition runs (earlier if you are in the 1st or 3rd run group). Then if you choose to stay f...

Re: 2018 Event Statistics

Thanks for that, Anthony. Interesting numbers. Don't shoot me, but the next logical step would be to find what sections those DNFs came from. I'm only curious from an SSS point of view. The changes I made were first and foremost for worker safety. But I wouldn't mind plugging holes elsewhere just t...

Re: 2018 Event Statistics

The course workers had called into timing about cars coming straight at them coming out of the chi box. I was just talking to Eric about a fix when you were on your way to fix it. I did see the issue with at a couple of cars. Either not looking ahead, not remembering or too new to realize the import...
