Re: 2021 Car Classing
If you are selecting Novice class, select CAM-C as your index. Tires are fine. Quite a few in CAM-C, even though in Novice, you run with the rest of the CAM cars. Lots of friendly people and lots of advice available, some of it even good, LOL. Despite my avatar, I co-drive in a Camaro in CAM-C.

Re: Alternate Sites?
I'll be running there for their next 2 events. I checked it out when it was first built, it did seem small, but grid and pits are across the street in the stadium lot. I think we would have to enforce sound limitations, there is housing right next to the lot now.

Re: Photo of the inside of the CTV
There is a definite issue with all the cones on one side, nothing to balance it out. Too much weight in one spot (plus the weight of the generator right underneath them), the lean of the RV has gotten excessive. Thinking of reducing the width of the shelves on the passenger side to allow 2 by 2 stac...

Reed! You are the best! Thanks for all this clarification. We're going to sign up for Sunday! Very excited! Something I always tell my wife is how nice I remember everyone being at these events. I think last question: I understand that there are no ride alongs with instructors because of COVID. Is ...

February 7 Run Order
February 7, 2021 Run order. Apologies for the delay, large turn out coupled with a number of classes changing significantly in size required a major overhaul.

Re: Supplementary Classes in Local PAX Class
What's missing here is the thinking when PAX was created. The limit to "National Classes" was not intended to exclude supplemental classes, but to exclude local classes (CSM specifically since it was truly a no rules class, even though we assigned a our own guess at a PAX to it). While sup...

Re: Supplementary Classes in Local PAX Class
Its great that the board voted on something in December but did anyone do anything about it? There is no mention of XS in our sup regs. Do we get to see the actual sup regs revision wording that was approved in December? Well, I did. As a result of what was voted on, I added them to MSR and AXWare....

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
Hi Eric, welcome to CalClub. Not sure about all your mods for STH, but we only have 1 or 2 people that run that class. Your best bet would probably be CST, a local class that is very popular (around 20 entries regularly), and is a catch all class allowing almost any mods as long as you are on 200TW ...

November Run Order
This is the tentative run order for November 15. Assuming we have a similar turnout to last month (which we are on track for currently), we will again have 6 run groups, 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. At the moment, groups are evenly subscribed, but are subject to combining and some shifti...

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!
I know my old ‘07 Toyota Yaris should be in HS. Cat-back exhaust and rear sway bar are the only upgrades but I have an old set of Hoosiers with a UTQG of 040 that I intend to use up this weekend. Do the tires bump me up to FSP? STS? I’m not sure what the Novice class is. Thanks FSP seems reasonable...
