Re: Results page issues?

Yeah, I think you'll need to PM Rick Brown for those. In 2017 we moved to results.solo2.com. I don't think is old server is running, but I'm pretty sure he has them.

You probably should post the price and maybe the date codes on the tires?

Any chance of a post-Thanksgiving practice when our usual novice school is?
I'm actually in town this year.
Looks like I'll miss Nov 15th, though, hurt my hand putting in a transmission seal.
Another unfortunate consequence of Covid-19, there is no school this year.

Re: XS ruleset

working from a basic definition of perimeter, a perimeter is a path that encompasses/surrounds a two-dimensional shape; my personal opinion is that "must not extend past the perimeter of the original body" means that if the wing is changing the shape of the perimeter of the original body then it is...

Re: XS ruleset

Thanks for the interpretation Anthony. Seems way more beneficial than the way I was looking at it. Reguarding a "spoiler" (maximum allowed) End plates are allowed: no size restriction. (does not say wing/spoiler specifically) Could I add very large end plates to the sides of the spoiler to better f...

I don't see your wording in the rule. I see it being defined by the term body.

Overall width afaik is 68.3" including mirrors its about 74".

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!

Hi there! I signed up for the Auto-X coming up in a couple weeks. I'm SUPER excited! This will be my first time, and I wanted to confirm the class for my 2017 Focus RS. Here is a list of relevant mods: - Wheels (18x9 vs stock 19x8) (running standard treadwear 300 tires) - Intake & exhaust (stock do...

Re: Guidance Going Into 2nd Event

Yeah, really what Reed said helps. Also, walking course a few times is also beneficial. The goal would be to understand generally where the course goes and to know where the important spots are. As you come out more and more it will get easier to "read" the course. If you want a head start PM me and...

2021 looking for an open seat.

I'm looking at possibly moving the miata to a time trial car, so I'm hoping to find an autocross ride for 2021.

Will happily contribute tires. Can also offer coaching, towing, or wrenching help if that provides value to you.

Bob Davis of the SEB announced that Jr. Karts will not return during 2020 . The contents are public. I just posted it yesterday. So what do WE need to get the kids back on the track ? The post came directly from the JDP site . Can you please make a call . Hi Robert, I'll try again. You are mistaken...

Nope. Unfortunately that is all 2020 stuff. There was a status call this week with the Mike Cobb and the JDP Program Assessment Committee, but the contents were not made pubic. https://www.scca.com/announcements/212-jdp-update "The JDP Program Assessment Committee is planning to schedule a JDP commu...

Hi! I am new here.

I was interested in the events listed for the remainder of the year.

However, they are not on motorsportsreg.

Will there be any more events this year?

Thanks!

Turtle Wax label and sticker remover takes cone marks right off without any effort, way better than anything else I've tried. I also have a set of plastic razor blades to help with really built up marks. https://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Wax-T-529-Sticker-Remover/dp/B004M3F5CO/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3JEON48RR...

I like goof off as I use it for other cleanup work, but I'm sure others will chime in.

Re: Post Car Classing Help Questions Here!

I know my old ‘07 Toyota Yaris should be in HS. Cat-back exhaust and rear sway bar are the only upgrades but I have an old set of Hoosiers with a UTQG of 040 that I intend to use up this weekend. Do the tires bump me up to FSP? STS? I’m not sure what the Novice class is. Thanks FSP seems reasonable.

Its a little soon given the drops. 9 events = 2 drops, which is like half of the events. But here you go in case you are curious. (not sorted read the numbers).

Update from the solo town hall. The committee has been formed. A comprehensive plan must now be developed, including rules, a training program, re-certification, etc. Then that must be submitted to the SEB which then would approve/modify, then to go to the B.O.D for final approval. After that, then ...
