Mark, I would've let you drive my car had I not already invited a first timer friend along to drive with me. Are we allowed to run out of group if its just you and I representing STS anyway? I don't know the rules regarding that.

Sort of gave up after the first week knowing I'm no alien like Jeff Stuart, and have no chance at a top 32.

I have to say, being a novice myself this year, that the assistance/instruction has been great. Whether it be the novice course walk, instructions from others about how to drive the course, or the instructor runs. They have all been ALOT of help to me.

I was not implying that I was going to do that, I was posing a theoretic situation similar to what had happened. And one that could easily fly under the radar. I've registered and ran with the proper run groups in the past and will continue to do so. Thanks for hearing and responding to my concerns.

CST is a catch all class so he could easily be STC legal. If you know of something that makes his car not STC legal, that should be the basis of your protest. I understand that my class and PAX is Novice and ESK when registering, but wanted to have the "correct" class letter designations on the car. I'm cutting/making the letters myself so it won't be too much trouble for me to cut/make a few extra letters if need be. Seems like I started a deba...

I want to make some magnets for myself for next year and wondering what I need to make for the class I'll be running. Should it be ES SK2 or are the classes being changed next year to ES RTR? Also will be running in novice class so I believe I'll also need to make some NOV magnets too?

Just as a side comment: An E-stock Miata came in 3rd out of 36 in RTR at Nationals this year. Although I do believe they were on the 96 M edition on 15" Toyos that are now banned. Other than that single NA, it doesn't look like any other NA dared try to compete in RTR, according to the results...

Is there a "gentlemens agreement" in STS currently which allows torsens in the Miatas? Because if that's the case, STS is where I might want to be next year also. Sorry to thread jack Silvio.
