Re: Quick Update
Yes we will, and we'll get registration for that open soon. I was hesitant to open that up without some ink on contracts. We are very close to that, but as of this moment, we don't have ink on paper, so I'm a little hesitant to open that up. That being said, we are confident we'll have monthly event...

Re: Quick Update
As of this moment, nothing on the books till December 16-17. Not sure where people might be seeing other dates, but if anybody sees anything else out there for Cal Club, please let us know so we can correct it. We've got several leads and folks on our team working them, but unfortunately as of this ...

Re: Is the December 2023 event still on?
Yes, we have an event at Storm on December 16-17th. We'll open registration a few weeks before the event.
Unfortunately that's all we currently have on the books. If anybody has any ideas for places we could run, please let me (or any board member) know.

No news as of this moment. But we're patiently waiting for a contract. We'll update as soon as something concrete surfaces. We do have all of our sanctions lined up, so as soon as we have something we're locked and loaded on our end. Sorry for the delays, but it is what it is!

As a courtesy to our vendors, we're not naming names until we've got ink on a contract. I'd hate to generate any negative press for anybody because we couldn't work out a deal.
I'll share exact details once we've got ink on paper!

Quick Update
QUICK UPDATE: We're sorry we haven't had any solid news to share with all of you, but we can't open any event registration till we have ink on a contract. But, assuming all goes as planned, we've got April 22-23 and May 27-28 (hopefully just some minor contract finer points). In addition, Storm Stad...

Hello Phillip! Welcome to Cal Club! I'm sure you'll find our region to be the same big "family" you left in St. Louis. Come on out and join in! As far as 3 drivers in a car....we can work with you to make that happen...and yes, the co-drive with you and your son in a heat and then with you...

Re: April 11 Run Order
Also....just a reminder for Sunday: In an effort to not "oversell" X-Runs, we limited the number of X-Runs and created a waitlist for those. If you signed up for Sunday and you got "waitlisted" it was for your X-Runs. Everybody that signed up for Sunday's competition is in and co...

Re: Registration Questions for Multi-Drivers
Hey Steve, We have a complete program for our Novice drivers that would be of benefit to your wife (and you if you're new to our club). We'll have a guided Novice Course Walk, starting about 1 hour before first car out. The Novice Walk will be hosted by Stephen Yeoh and he'll cover all the basics of...

JDP Program Temporarily Suspended
I just got off the phone with Rick Meyers (Region Development Manager, SCCA) and Brian Harmer (Solo & Rally Program Manager, SCCA). They are reaching out to each region individually to inform us that for the moment we are suspending the JDP program. Apparently there is a concern on specific guid...

We'll do what we can to help Dad keep up!Rick Brown wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 9:35 pm While the daughter may be under 18 and we need to know that, did you guys notice she has her own car, not sharing with dad (2015 GT vs 2018 GT)?
Re: Novice
How old is your daughter? If under 18, we'll need to let you know about the minor waiver procedures. My son just turned 16. He's run Karts since his 5th birthday, but this season we're co-driving a car. Pretty cool to do that! To add to Steve's comment. We need a minor waiver signed by both parents...

Re: First time with Cal Club Autocross: April Test N Tune
Yes, we do allow adult passengers. If they aren't a driver in the event, all we ask is that they come sign our passenger book and get a yellow wristband (free) at the registration table. If you're running for points, you can't ride before your competition runs (but if you're just out for fun and not...

Welcome Robert. You'll love running the car with your kid. I've been running with my kid for years now, and it's been absolutely great! We have an event this weekend. We typically try to do a novice course walk on Saturday's too (if we have interest...which we usually do). Either way, if you need in any help at any of our events (as a newbie or otherwise), just let us know (anyone on the event staff) and we'll be happy to answer questions, help find you some inst...

Welcome Freddy! Make sure you let us know it's your first time. We have lots of friendly folks that are very happy to help new folks join in on the fun. Also, just FYI, if we have enough interest, we'll typically try to do a free Fun Run session after the regular event ends on Sundays. No cost for e...
