I compiled a list of the cars I would like to see moved to H-stock since cars with over 250 horsepower are being moved to G-stock in 2009, the Cobalt SS turbo (260 hp ), the Audi TT (265 hp), Dodge Caliber SRT-4 (285hp), Mazda Speed 3 (264hp). Lets bump up H-stock slightly. Maybe give the Mini a run for its money. What do you think? feel free to add a car or two to the list and please, if you have any interest or if you dont... write a letter and send it in.
enough letters and maybe they will put it up for member comments.
List for being moved from GS to HS.
These are some cars that may or may not be competitive in HS. I kept in mind that there are still un-compromised examples of these cars out there worthy of Stock class and parts are available.

We need to add: 68-76 BMW 2002 NOC; G Stock to H Stock.
Who whom do we send the letter?

This is SCCA's mailing address, you could address it to the "SOLO Board of DIrectors"
P.O. Box 19400 Topeka, KS 66619-0400
Or email to the BOD with these, I included Nancy's e mail also, just because.
I think the 2002 classing is a good idea also, even though it will be over 25 years old and not eligible for national competition in stock class. you hardly ever see a 100 percent stock 2002 anyways. ha ha.

I believe the correct email for all letters "to the scca" about solo rule changes is SEB@scca.com. You'll get a record number back from them and it's pretty responsive now that they have the second dude helping out with the email.
The board of directors is not Solo specific, they oversee ALL of the scca including the Pro racing, Club Racing, Rally, etc. They is general approve what the SEB recommends to them. Proposals wouldn't come from them.
I pulled the personal emails out of that post just so they don't get huge amounts of spam when this thread is indexed or spidered.

Re: GS and HS changes
agreed, this is an SEB thing,so don't email the BOD.
Since Doug got his new assistant they have been really good about responding with a record number and distributing your opinion to the SEB or proper sub commitee.
