Massa???? Bill you got to be kidding---the only way he could win, the stewards would have to DQ or add 25 sec penalities to all the rest of the competitors. I'm not saying they won't, if fact, it is probably very possible...... :barf:Bill Schenker wrote:Massa

Didn't get to watch practice so I'll watch now but qualifying starts in 6 minutes so gotta get my picks in or else re-use last week's. And I don't think Alsono can pull the HAT TRICK

Re: 2008 F1 Podium Picker Challenge: Chinese Grand Prix: Rd 17
If I could be so bold as to float a proposal for next year - how's bout a point for picking quali also? And maybe scale the 5 pts to allow a bit for finishing position - 6 for first, 5 for second and 4 for third.
I've nailed a coupla qualis and keep getting a fiver for picking third right. First part is cool and all, but I feel kinda weak limping in on the thirds...
Just me 2c.

No you may not!!Larry Andrews wrote:If I could be so bold

Let's see what the contestants think. I'm not opposed to the idea.Larry Andrews wrote:as to float a proposal for next year - how's bout a point for picking quali also? And maybe scale the 5 pts to allow a bit for finishing position - 6 for first, 5 for second and 4 for third.
Not sure what that's worth in this economy.Larry Andrews wrote:Just me 2c.

P.S. - Looks like Ferrari "team orders" helped Larry and I get the hat-trick!!
Will update the points. Curious to see the standings.

Re: 2008 F1 Podium Picker Challenge: Chinese Grand Prix: Rd 17
I'd be up for some variation on Larry's proposal. I like the idea of points awarded for quali.
