Sony Reader or Kindle?
I understand the Kindle is sold out. Just wondering what you guys think of the two devices- and if they were both available- which would you get and where would you buy it from?
Dood, are you gonna eat that?

Ken, you already have a Cell Phone, no need to carry around another device, that's where I read my books. You get bored over across the pond or something?Ken Motonishi wrote:I understand the Kindle is sold out. Re: Sony Reader or Kindle?
My Dad just got a Kindle. He reads vorciously, and I think in the long run, it'll save him a lot of $$$. I don't know much about the Sony reader, but if they've done what they usually do (try to control the whole thing without allowing anyone to partner with them) it's gonna be Betamax all over again, because the hardware is nothing without a lot of available content.
The great things about the Kindle are how easy it is to download books, and the number of titles available. Go to Amazon.com and you can browse the library...really impressive. I guess if I was comparison shopping, I'd look at the number of titles Sony has available and look at each system's per-title price.

I prefer to cradle the book with the left hand and turn pages with the right index finger.....
I do have about 50 audiobooks in my ipod.
