Can you imagine the marks that left on their precious parking lot  (or why we only ran there once).

That's not going to scrub off with a pressure washer.

Saw this going on there and all I could think was "if they can do this, why can't we run there???"

I have a feeling they're paying more than we'd be willing to pay. Just a feeling. But if anyone could get me an appointment with Arte, I'd be willing to pitch it. Maybe you could get me an invitation to the owner's suite at the ballpark while you're at it? :P

I was thinking the same as David. When we ran there the management freaked out over the tire marks and had us try to pressure wash it off... Didn't work and we never got to run there again.

Hasn't ownership changed (from Disney to ??) since then?

Yes. To the much more community friendly Arte, and word is the whole staff has taken on a friendly attitude. They ran some bike races in the parking lot there as well. Not only in the offseason, but also while the Angels are on the road.

Yes, and Brian R. gave me the OK to make an inquiry, which I did. The answer was "no dynamic automotive events." That was 4 or 5 years ago.
