We seem to now have two competing car haulers. Those committed to this one and those committed to Carl's. If you're on this list but are now committed to Carl's, please let us know ASAP so we can make sure no one is left out in the cold.

Thanks

Sorry Nicole, can you send me your and Jeff's email addresses?

Group,

I talked to the driver today. We are scheduled for pick-up Sunday afternoon on the 30th. This will let those wanting to race in SD to be able to run in the morning.

Cars are scheduled to arrive the Thursday before the Pro Finale.

Cost will be under $1,100/car if there are 10 cars. There may be 1-2 spots opening up, if you know of any potential cars that may want to go, please contact them.

Thanks,

Rick

Update for the multi-car transporter to the ’09 Nationals:

There are 2 spots still available to fill the transporter. Cost will be ~ $1,100 if filled.

List of interested parties:
1. Derek Punch
2. Mihai Z.
3. Rick J
4. Jason F.
5. Brian Peters – AZ
6. Doug Rowse
7. Michael H.
8. Jeff Wong
9. ---
10. ---

Potential Benefits:
- Get there fresh and focused on driving.
- Cost is somewhat offset by saving on:
- Gas.
- Additional lodging and meal costs.
- Lost workdays on the way out there and back.
- Mileage depreciation on newer cars/trucks driving out.
- Main reason is to not waste the trip because your tow rig or car breaks down, or gets in an accident on the way out there.
- Saves wear and mileage on the car (or tow rig/trailer) and tires.
- Don't have to set-up the car there from a street to track settings.
- If the car breaks at the event you still have a way to it get home.
- For those driving out in stiff riding cars/trucks, it’s less fatiguing on the driver.
- No rental car needed there for street car drivers, or car-pool to lodging /banquet.
- Shortens your overall trip.

Last 2 times, the transported cars have brought back a total of over 20 national trophies, including 5 national championships - so something is working. J

If there is someone else you think would be interested, please feel free to pass this on.

Thanks,

Rick J.

Discount on the last spot to fill the transporter - $ 795.
Less $ than fuel cost alone to tow to Lincoln, plus the benefits noted above.

Thanks,

Rick
