Walk for Hope Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Post by Mari Clements »

Hi all--

This Sunday, Jonathan will not be running with Formula Junior in the morning, and it's not just because he now has that long-awaited driver's license.

Jon and I will both be walking for hope at the City of Hope breast cancer walk. If you are interested, you can read more about this terrible disease and City of Hope's efforts on our fund raising pages, but the stat that is driving my participation is the number 4. That is, I am walking in memory of (1) my great grandmother Granny B, (2) Eric's beloved aunt Sharon, (3) my best friend from graduate school Chris, and in honor of (4) my cousin Linda who is the bravest and strongest survivor I know.

If you can contribute--even a couple of dollars will help in this important battle--please follow the link below to visit one of our pages and click on the big pink DONATE button--or see Eric at the event. He'll bring forms to the championship event.

Least I can do - especially considering that Jon gave up his bed for me that one night...

Glad to see y'all doing the right thing and keeping priorities straight. :) Good stuffs.

donating money is easy, it only takes a few minutes of effort on our end.

least we can do to support a worthy cause.
