A place to work and store your car

Post by Bill Schenker »

It's called the Hobby Shop, and it's in Glendora, off of Route 66. We are a co-op of guys that are mostly into hot rods, but tolerate us road and AX racers :D . They've been in existence since 1957 and are a great group of guys. The Hobby Shop has a lot of equipment to work on your car: a good fab shop; semi spray booth; a lift; MIG & TIG welders as well as a plasma cutter; pro tire changing & balancing machines and a brake rotor turner.

It's usually pretty tough to get membership, but with these tough economic times, there are some associate membership slots opening up (those turn into full membership once everyone gets to know each other and it becomes clear that you're not an ax murderer or jerk :D ).

It's a great place and wonderful resource to work on and maintain your race car. Let me know if you're interested and I'll put you in touch with them/us.
