VERY happy to hear that all is well so far. Please take all the time you need to recover completely. While we will miss you at event your health is MORE IMPORTANT than racing. Maybe Bob should miss next event just in case you need more help. It won't affect the points race much! Paul Wehrman

Hello All - to my dear friends and family,
Thank you to all of you who have sent me your warm thoughts and wishes, cards, pictures and for the beautiful flowers. It has been wonderful and encouraging to look up from my bed and see the love you have all sent - THANK YOU.

I am indeed home and moving along the road to recovery. I have been out of it most of the time due to pain/pain meds. I just went for a 6 minute walk. Doesn't sound like much, but trust me, it was. I am trying to get up more and moving. I still have pain, but it is different than before. The doctor is amazed that my walking gait has improved so well. I am no longer dragging my left foot and my right only lags behind when I get tired.

Please excuse me for not writing earlier - I have been unable to sit at the computer and now only for a few minutes at a time.

I am looking forward to the next event. I miss all of you,
gayle
