Re: September 25 Registration Open
Same question as Cam, plus another one: there was no option to pay online. Do we just pay at the event?
Sorry if this info is posted somewhere... I looked around and couldn't find it. Thanks for helping out a noob

Seems we normally just register online & then pay at the event?Davin Swanson wrote:Same question as Cam, plus another one: there was no option to pay online. Do we just pay at the event?

They look at see we are on the list & give us the discount.
What I'm most concerned with is the practice being we could just walk up on raceday to race but not so much on practice day?

Re: September 25 Registration Open
We haven't had online payment for a while now. There were some issues with the accounting and reconciliation of the payments.
Practices are often not posted until about 2 weeks before the event. So this weekend would not be unusual. Most of those responsible for making things happen were not only gone for nearly two weeks to Nationals, but usually spent quite a bit of time preparing to go. We only got an event Chair two days ago. Decisions on the practice format and other details will be made in the next day or so.
Please be patient, the flyer will be up this weekend.

Re: September 25 Registration Open
Most of the national competitors take the practice after nationals off, so I'm guessing you'll have no problems getting into this practice.

Re: September 25 Registration Open
Ooops, I just realized after coming back from my doctors , I'm gonna have to bow out of this event because I'll be having surgery the day before & will be in no shape for racing.
Do I need to some how unregister? Or as long as I don't show at the event I wont get charged?

Re: September 25 Registration Open
Please just go in and cancel your registration. Since we are not currently doing online payment, you wouldn't be charged anyway.Cam Correa wrote:Ooops, I just realized after coming back from my doctors , I'm gonna have to bow out of this event because I'll be having surgery the day before & will be in no shape for racing.

Once you log in, you go to the Dashboard for the event and cancelling is one of the choices there.

Re: September 25 Registration Open
There is a difference between your Dashboard and the event Dashboard. To the right of the event listing on your Dashboard there is a link to the Event Dashboard. You wouldn't see that option now since you are already canceled.Cam Correa wrote:I actually went to my Dashboard & did nt notice the option?

Re: September 25 Registration Open
I tried to register in Historic 2 using an STR index and there was no selection for that. How do you sign up for Historic 2?

Works for me. Class = Street Touring Roadster, PAX = HST2 Historic 2Art Rinner wrote:I tried to register in Historic 2 using an STR index and there was no selection for that. How do you sign up for Historic 2?
I'm guessing you tried to do it the other way. MSR doesn't look at indexed classes as a "class", only as a modifier to a base class. Backwards, I know, and the several letters I've sent fall on deaf ears.

Re: September 25 Registration Open
It placed me in STR instead of Hist 2. Is that a problem?

Re: September 25 Registration Open
Fixed it. It should put you STR, then when you select HST2 as your PAX it should have been correct if you look at the registration list.Art Rinner wrote:It placed me in STR instead of Hist 2. Is that a problem?

Re: September 25 Registration Open
I'm not sure if this is a bad place to put this, so move/delete as necessary.
I'm coming out Sunday to play around with the new camera / video function, and not planning on doing the "take picture of everyone" that I normally do.
I'll most likely only stay until noon, and only take pictures/video of friends' cars. if you're in the morning group, and want pictures taken, please let me know..
