Thank you to all of the Board and other club members for a nice banquet event. It was a nice venue. Loved seeing all the cars in the museum.
And thank you to Rick for the selection of style and color of the jackets.Very nice!
A special, heart-felt thank you to Gayle for the nice photo/music tribute to Renee. It was very well-done and really captured who she was.
Congratulations to all the Champions and Trophy winners!

Re: 2011 Solo Awards Banquet - Thank You
I would also like to add my thanks to the board.
On my way out the door I stopped to take some pictures. The docent had no issue with my standing between the cars to shot the back side of the 1952 Packard. When does that happen at a car museum?
I did ask if I could get a closer look at the Jaguar XKSS, Yes he just smiled, but...
After a few questions about my interest in Jag's, I bought a 1973 XJ-12L the year I graduated from college, he invited my friend and I out back to see a 1975 XJ-12C in the same color combination that I had owned. Coco brown with a biscuit interior. Then we were invited to check out the collection of cars from the 60's through 80's.
Attached is a shot of their Mustang running a 6 with three single carbs.
Next time you are there, I would ask to get into the attached garages. And yes, lots of them would find a home running with us in Historic 1 and 2!

That was my first time at a Solo awards banquet. No trophy or jacket, but I did get a K1 gift card.
Thanks for putting it on.

Congrats to all class winners!
Sorry I missed the event...I signed up to go, but my Saturday-morning migraine had the last say.
