Well at least I'm only runnin' on Saturday so that makes it what, $43.333333 a run? Maybe I'll get to stop for a downed cone or get red flagged...
LOL. Maybe I'll knock one over for you, just so you're only paying $32.5 per run.

Go ahead and fax in your registration for the $90 amount today.
Call Monday and plead with Nancy - she is pretty nice.
Tell her you were busy making the tour/pro shirts and forgot.
Just don't name drop Gary T. or Bill S. - use Tom B or others - that will work much better!
I may have sweet-talked Nancy once or twice before...... maybe ;)

You can prety much close your eyes and start walking and within 5 minutes, you'll run into a Mexican place. Two of my faves are Filibertos in Encinitas and Adalbertos near the marina on Rosecrans near Nimitz. They haven't gone legit like Robertos has...still holes in the wall with awesome food and big portions.

If you want cheap and spectacularly good shrimp burritos, try Karina's in Leucadia on PCH. It's a dive - surfers walk in barefoot - but it's the best shrimp burrito I've ever tasted.

If you want to sit down and have dinner brought to you, check out Fidel's, just north of Del Mar. I like that location - I believe it's the original.

If you want some of the best soup you've ever had - yes, it's an entire meal - check out La Especial Norte in Encinitas, also on PCH between Encinitas Blvd. and Leucadia Blvd.

If you want to splurge ... take your loved one or car owner to Red Tracton in Del Mar ... near the horse racing track. Old time mobster steak house. Amazing meats, tomato salad; Lobster bisque comes with a side of sherry (you mix it in to your own taste ... you don't slam it and ask for another hit!). You can always eat peanut butter sandwiches for the next five days.

Hey,

You are outing my favorite place, dude. Karina's. Well, you might as well have mentioned the carne asada burrito & also what a hottie the girl who takes the orders is. She may even be the owner.

BTW if the "regular" lunch wagon is at the tour, he has excellent fare coming out of a kitchen on wheels. I do not know what the arrangement is on that.

:)

You need to save up for gas in the M6...
We're having COSTCO hot dogs and cold left over pizza all weekend.

So Fidel's sounds good, but too far away. What's the best mex food I can get using that tramway? I've taken it down to old town before, but those places are big on 1-hour waits.
