The carcass of a White Castle still stands in Santa Monica and currently exists as a dirt-cheap Mexican place. Kind of funny and sad at the same time.

Maple syrup enhances all breakfast food. Especially Carnation Instant Breakfast. This unchanging truth is as dependable as the tides.

Gotta add slaw to the chilidogs.

Yeah, I lived in the South long enough for it to stick somewhat...

The mouse is named Emile.

Robert went and put on his Remy halloween outfit and tried to coax him out to play.

The cat is avoiding the office where I keep telling her there is "food".

Four traps are set around the tire stack and boxes where the mouse seems to "live".

Now the cat is moping around the office like, "you weren't just teasing me, there really was food in here... Give me another chance...MEOW!!!"

Meet Princess Chunky, a 44-pound cat, who is just two pounds shy of the 1987 Guinness World Record for overweight cats.

So I'm unpacking boxes. Yeah, I've lived here for six months, and I'm finally starting to move in--some of this stuff has been in boxes since 2 houses ago, I think.

One treasure I just found: FORMULOR, an extracurricular effort with high school summer school math class friends to make a movie about geometry. The premise: the formula to find the volume of a sphere has been stolen by the evil N-Gon, and Special Agents A, J, and E are the only ones who can get it back and save geometry as we know it.

Awww yeah. Now to find someone with a VCR. :)
