I can't believe how people can be so wrong. January will begin the complete dismantling of the United States of America. Our country is lost.

Like I said... The whole world will pay a price for this "experiment". For every dollar we save on the military $2 more will be wasted on the crooks at the UN. And the most sad, more lives will be lost than in Iraq from the results of a failed basic understanding of the world.


But I was up 7.5% today in my equities account because of oil going up 10% and libor falling

You need to turn off the TV and walk away from the computer. Go outside and walk around the neighborhood. Wash and wax the truck, mow the lawn, pull some weeds. Despite all the hype, this election isn't really that important. Its one of many to come.

This is probably the most compelling (and rational...finally) argument I've heard against Obama. It's the thing giving me pause.

McCain's Supreme Court nominations would have to be moderate to even liberal to pass the senate. So, no huge disasters there...
People are stupid. Most are just voting against W.
My grandfather hates Obama, but only votes for democrats. Too bad I forgot to mail his absentee ballot in.

John, this just isn't another ordinary election and another ordinary democrat being elected. Obama, who makes Hillary look like a Republican, will be the first Socialist to ever to inhabit the White house. The democratic leadership has drifted so far left that a democratic super majority combined with Obama's socialism will be a disaster to our economy and our way of life. I know I'm scared.

I know there's lots of sources to track the elections on, but this one seams to be updated constantly, and very easy to read, it not only shows this years stats but also how each state went since '92.

Its so past over the only thing worth checking the news for is the Franken race and the props in CA.

Kinda interesting comparing the above site reporting as counted, vs. NBC Predictions, and how different they are.

As of 6:59pm NBC reports Obama 200 McCain 124, the web site I found above is reporting Obama 149 McCain 159.

I realize the "as counted" can be skewed heavy in the early reports depending on what counties are reporting such as in VA the DC area (Heavy Dem) vs. the rural areas (Heavy Rep). Just thought it was an interesting observation this early in the game tonight. Especially since I have been hearing on the radio all day that the Media believes that they will be able to call it as soon as the CA polls close.

i didn't like the electoral college back in 2000, and i still don't like it now.

I know WHY it was created, but in this day and age, shouldn't the electoral votes at least SOMEWHAT reflect the popular vote numbers?
