Are the BSP results Final ? Tom 2nd by 0.058 ... seems like some times are missing?

No.....that's why I put "pre-liminary". E-Modified is also missing as Keisel is in 1st temporarily. Though E-Mod Ladies is done and Keisel's wife lost to Patty Tunnell.

Tom Berry trails by .264 going into last run. Marshall Berry done and 3rd.

The .058 was first day results.

How come no one is reporting on the famed G-P class?

Rad mentioned that a couple of other drivers were going to pilot the Fiat in another class. Does anyone know what happened to that idea?

SSM has a 2009 Ferrari 430 Scuderia listed for two drivers placing 3rd and 17th.

Wow, I didn't know he got two shots at it...Tom, on the other hand, pulled it out on his last run going faster and clean. A well deserved win, I'd say!

Seeing as I'm a loser, sitting at a key board this year rather than being in Lincoln, I just did a quick count of National Championships won and it appears that the state of CA took well over a quarter of all championships...20 out of 74. SFR was responsible for 7, with the two SoCal regions taking 13 (I'm too lazy and ignorant to break it down any further). Anyhow, I'd say that is probably the best effort from the left coast since the early 2000's. Lots of great efforts and I'm stoked for all the first time winners...actually, I'm happy for all that were fortunate enough to participate!

It's a sad day for the STX WRX...The reign has finally ended.

I hear most of the ITR's in D Stock were DQ'd for leaving out a gasket in the airbox ..... Winner was legal.

SSM was completely destroyed by rain.... Like SS, CPL, and DP. I feel particularly bad for Keith Brown (DP) and Andy McKee (SSM). Keith was putting the hurt on with his Miata and Andy was exacting revenge on Dr. Erik for the Pro Finale win.

I've got the newspaper from Lincoln that shows the lake the West Course became. I'll bring it to the next event to show you. I was covering the 1st and 3rd runs, and the downpour started during the course walk-prep before the 2nd runs. It was crazy how much rain came down, in such a short amount of time. The initial sprinkles made the surface very, very slick for walking, let alone driving. I was listening to the race on the TireRack FM broadcast in the car because I didn't feel like being soaked, and didn't want my notes ruined. Some of the times in the second group were double of normal because those with the fewest mistakes were going to win. Some people had time to change to rain tires between runs, and I think that was the difference in the end.

The absolute SOLE difference 2nd heat was that some first drivers got one dry run before Lincoln AirPark went underwater. Those that put down a clean first lap in the dry beat nearly a 100% of those that ran in the wet. Rain tires didn't matter. It was about when you ran and if you could seize the opportunity.

Tired, so tired. Left NE around 5:00am my time, got home at 3:00am - 1500+miles in 22hrs Then Jessica was happy to see daddy home, and thought I needed to be up at 7:00am. Must go back to sleep...
