The system now requires an email address as your login ID and it must be unique, no way around it. They were apparently having a lot of problems with multiple accounts on one email, people forgetting their login and just creating a new account with a different name. Sorry, just the way it is. Not unique, lots of systems/sites do it. So you will have to create a gmail or some other free account.

We're looking forward to the rain with our new Falken 452's ... last time we had Goodyear F1 Super somethings with almost no tread in back.

Lets see ... I've got 6 free, non work hours to change the Z06 with an experimental Rain set-up before Sat ... JUST Kidding! Extra low tire pressures in back, high in front for deep water ... :D

btw. I recommend working the course with your helmet on ... nice and warm and dry.

Nothing like a good wax job ...

Mako, don't forget to change your shocks, tires, ride height, corner balance, sway bar preload, and alignment for the rain!

Not touching a thing ... except, and this is a secret! ... going with Negative Preload on the front bar ... you know, softer setting for the wet. :king:

Updated Friday morning to reflect any cancellations received by the deadline. We have 78 cars entered, 10 with co-drivers. We can handle 80 entries, so there is an opportunity for someone to switch a co-driver to a full entry, or for some last minute entries.

Forget about the weather reports. I'm expecting it to be warm and sunny for a perfect autox day. :D

Can I jump on one of those remaining spots?
Pretty please, with sugar on top, haha.
I can pay cash at the event?

We'll put you on the list Kurt. If you have an SCCA membership number, what is it?

Out of curiosity, will the practice sessions be stopped tomorrow if lightning is spotted?

Yes. We shut down for electrical storms.

Although sometimes we'll let Schenker run just to see if he can spark some attention.

Looks like you may be in luck. Yesterday there was 20% chance, now they're saying 50% chance for Sunday. 90% chance on Saturday, but they took away the thunderstorms so that's good.

And of course I just got new tires that suck in the rain, so I'm probably worse off than I would've been with my old tires.

Holy guacamolie Batman!
SK1 has 16 people pre-registered.
SK2 has 15.
Just think if SK1/2 were national classes?

Then people would find the one car that was the best and it would spec out just like the rest, you'd need to bring a seperate set of street tires shaved to 3/32nds or tow your car to events.
