...maybe I should've voted "yes" on Prop. 8.

BTW, I believe under Kansas state law, you are now in a domestic partnership with the cat. (don't worry, I won't tell Stacy: I'd hate for you to loose that cool new trailer in the settlement.)

" Our team from California regularly competes in both the ProFinale and TireRack SCCA Solo Nationals. We look forward to meeting the fine people of Lincoln, NE. Thank you for playing host. Many of us were quietly hoping a deal could be struck after hearing wonderful stories of the site and the city from our midwest friends and competitors. The Solo racing community is a diverse bunch from around the United States and Canada. You'll find a wide range of backgrounds, occupations, and income levels. For many there is a family appeal to our sport with ladies and juniors classes giving our whole family the chance to run for national titles.

We've spent many years finding our favorite restaurants, stores, antique shops, garages, hotels, and night spots in Topeka. Now our travels will take us to your fine town and we look forward to years of exploring the best of what Lincoln has to offer.

Thank you again for offering your city to us. "

And please.....at least a 60 second course! If people are going to drive all the way to Lincoln, NE, make it worth their while (not directed at you Patch:) ). But hopefully Nationals will now make them not so "short".

I suspect that if we show up at Nationals next year and the courses are any shorter than 60 seconds then there will be a mob searching for the course designer and SCCA staff carrying a bucket of tar and a bunch of feathers.

I dunno, those courses were tough enough at THAT length this year.. last thing I need is 20 more seconds of that east course, the software can't record that many cones.
