Schedule is back up on the national site: http://scca.com/newsarticle.aspx?hub=3&news=3535
We have officially secured the second weekend for the Pro at El Toro - March 28th and 29th. Hopefully S.D. doesn't have a problem securing March 21st and 22nd. That's the "official" date published by the SCCA... as of today anyway.Bill Martin wrote:Any updates on this? I've heard it now from two sources. Why swap and who decides and when?Michael Contour wrote:The SD Tour and El Toro Pro may likely be swapped.

Though I'm not really sure why they didn't do the western championship in the West.. 1200miles from Seattle, 900 miles from here. That Alameda site looks pretty big and central on the west coast, 330 miles from Seattle, 450 miles from here. Though I guess they did the same, ingore that the US population is concentrated on the coasts, for the eastern Championship too. I mean.. do we really need to cater to the people in the center of the country given that they get <500 mile drives to Nationals?Aaron Goldsmith wrote:Western Region Championship site.. I think.

I think the bay area is like 800 miles from Seattle, not 330 :unimpressed:Aaron Goldsmith wrote:Though I'm not really sure why they didn't do the western championship in the West.. 1200miles from Seattle, 900 miles from here. Ah! Cool! Now if we could only get it scheduled for early April, I could get my dream - ski and AX on the same day!Keith Brown wrote:The announcement stated the airport will be shut down for repairs, so this may be a one time opportunity.
