I'll take HS SK2 in pax....

Afterall, a 91 Civic Si is in H-Stock, and my particular one runs on street tires.

I was looking at that. This year every pax in SK2 goes up by .6 or .7, and HS goes up by .1. WTF? Can you say Mini? Can you say Tyson's already successful Mazda 3?

The class has a minimum IQ. The reg list is a filter.

You read the PAX wrong - H-stock went up higher than any of the other SK2 classes. CS, DS, ES, and GS all went up by .006 or .007, while HS went up .01.

In Seb's immortal words ... "weak sauce"

From the amount of people that are having trouble with the on-line registration process, so far one would have to say, Failed product, produced by computer elitist. The same people that probably complain/laugh about asian instruction manuals have produced their own turkey. Sure, Nice Try ... but don't think you're done. I'm glad I was able to point out another problem in the proof read. :unimpressed:

Looking at the reg list it looks like there were a bunch of people that figured out that if you are not in a Paxed class then leave that spot alone.

If I remember correctly it was the same for the previous reg system also, or maybe that box contained "----", But I don't remember it saying "none"

If I was to take a guess, I would say that most of the problems that people are having and asking Steve about are probably related to the initial sign on to the site. Everyone that didn't register for last month's canceled event is just now trying to figure out the system and the instructions were attached to the threads from the last event. Now that the instructions are bookmarked, I suspect that will handle a lot of the problems. I could be wrong though.

I don't remember "weak sauce" being part of my lexicon, but I'll take credit, I like the "Immortal" part.

Ken: You can't run SST because you'll kill everyone and participation will be zero, National Office will have no data.

I think picking an index class is just like in the old system, if you weren't running an indexed class, you just left that spot blank.

sorry to go of subject more here in the SST thread, but since your all on the subject; I have several friends that are new to this that I have been introducing to the sport. they have all made comments on how dificult it is to sign up and find run / work orders and such. (and I agree). I am not just speaking for myself. I have had 4 or 5 of my friends call me asking when they run.

its pretty clear that it has become MORE difficult. I am all for making everything online. I just hope we can find a way to make it easier to find all the info needed.

EDIT: I started typing a lot of ideas and sugguestions, but it has all been deleted, really it's all pretty good, I think it can be cleaned up more, but ot bad. I guess my biggest complaint is still the run/work order. why is it so hard to find now? it's kinda importanat dont ya think? Why cant we have the run/work order still on the announcement page on solo2.com like it used to be? that would clear up at least a little of the confusion. :computer:

also, if anyone is interested, I made a big post on the RX-7club site about autocross. http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=811702" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
look at how much there is for a new person to learn.

so how bou that SST class? you think they will let a miata on R-compounds sneak in? }:) the red miata is rockin a new graphics scheme this year. the new look alone should put me in SST right? :ugeek:

There new run order doesn't work with the existing programming. Until that gets worked out, we have to link to the run order. I'm not sure why it is that hard to find,

First line on AXWare:

RUN ORDER: http://tinyurl.com/2-1-RunOrder

In the Solo2.com flyer:
Run/Work Order is available here
download/file.php?id=300" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I have had several people ask me why it was not posted. i say "it is, you just have to look around. its harder to find" eventually they find it..... or i just tll them.

How can it be harder? It's right at the top (as opposed to the bottom in the old format) in BIG RED LETTERS weather you click on it or roll over it. Yeah, the old one was direct not a link, but still. Neither the Solo2.com site nor AXWare can work with the way the work/run groups are being done at the moment because they try to "automatically" generate the work group based on the run groups. But since men & ladies work together, but run separately, it screws it up. So I make the work/run order up manually and post a link. Note to self: add FJ classes.
