Supposed to be about 90 next week, which is tolerable compared to the inaugural event's 105 or so. And that was air temp, not standing on the asphalt with the sun beating down. }:)

Sure George

because it was a blistering 92 last weekend and we were all out in the parking lot in Fontana.
And all the more reason to bring water squirt guns like Renee and Yuki had last weekend! ;)

Thank you to HSR West for bumping us from the original planned date of last weekend to this coming weekend:

I was in Riverside last weekend and thought everything was going to spontaneously combust
But it looks like our weather is going to be beautiful, for Fontana at least. (will probably still be able to see/eat the air)
Weather is partly cloudy today and tomorrow, not even breaking 90 degrees, and Friday and Sat are supposed to be low low 90's
The students start registration and tech today.
The competition is on!!!

Ya ya George,
I know you'd rather be shoe shopping (Mr. Bundy)
see you out there...
I will have track maps for the setup crew so we can get right to endurance setup after auto x
the endurance drivers meeting is at 5 pm tomorrow (may lose renee and/or me to support that)
we will have a get together on course at 6:30 pm to cover some new variables we need to account for in staging and pregrid and to meet the Tech crews that we will be working with.
There are 60 teams on site as of tonight (3 with cars still on the boat) so expect 45 to 55 cars to get through on Saturday

Assuming you meant Lot 12 (Green Lot) that would be my group Ian. BMWCCA - LA chapter decided to pick this day to hold their 2nd auto-x of the year.
Temp gauge read inside my car at 2pm.............
116 F :barf:
So you're welcome!

Ah, no Gio... Lot 12 isn't relevant to FSAE West
The event was an HSR Vintage race. I've had nothing but bad data points with HSR, who seem to be mostly populated by pompous blanks.

Ah ok. Just realized it after reading Christine's post. Sounds like they're just as pompous as certain car marque club that has a prancing horse as their logo!!
