Amazing how many frontrunners went off during practice. I haven't finished watching the whole thing, but so far it's looking like...

I've always wondered if the refs throw the race for the hometown guy. IIRC Rubens won in Brazil every year he was in the Scuderia, and Alonso tends to do well in Spain.

Barrichello's never finished higher than 3rd in Brazil, often DNF because of mechanical issues.

Senna OTOH ...

Yeah, not very exciting. Sometimes I don't like how my picks affect how I feel about a race, but this time there was some excitement from the possibilities. I'd say more, but apparently Gio is visiting relatives back east. I wonder if the Bronx Zoo has cable?

I thought it was intersting; Alonso put in good show considering the car he drives, there was also a nice battle all the way to the end between Kovalainen and Trulli, and nice driving from Piguet with all the pressure he had from the team and the driver who was trying to get by him in a better car.

So how long do we have to wait before we can talk about the race? If you haven't seen the race why would you click on this thread?
I avoid my entire Car set of RSS feeds if I haven't watched the race and certainly wouldn't click on the thread on the boards about it.
No one click on these Awesome pictures if you haven't seen the race:

Piquet redeemed himself; he needs to do the next 2-3 rounds to keep his job.

Exactly. You can talk about it whenever, I just avoid this thread on Fridays and on (don't even want to know about practice). So long as there are no "spoilers" in the titles of threads it's fine.

Congrats to Jarno Trulli. Great run blocking Heikki in the Mercedes by a Toyota!
