My 325 is able and willing to be part of a team. There are only two issues:
1. You also get my questionable driving ability
2. The race seat in the car may not fit anyone abundantly endowed in the waist region.

I just found out yesterday that I'll be available for the SCNAX cup! Anyone have a spot available for me?

So if i co-drive a car normally...can both drivers drive that car in SCNAX cup or does there need to be 4 physical cars?

Can a TO entry as a first run count to establish a 3 event driver average?

I wondered that too, then read the rules again: four drivers, four cars. I assume that to mean cars that have multiple drivers (Ekstrand Civic, Berry Evo, Larsson BMW, etc.) would have to enter a car/driver combo once across multiple teams. In other words, Steve Ekstrand could drive on Team A, but Stacey would have to drive on Team B and Tadd on Team C. At least that's how I read the rules.

I like it sooooo much better to say 4 drivers and two different cars.... :)
Team OakBeach!

Except 36 runs in one car on one day is a little abusive.

I like the team of Ekstrand Civic, Berry Evo, Larsson BMW, and Delgado Fiat.

Guys and gals, this is THE MOST FUN you can have driving autocross. Put together a team and get out there - you won't regret it.

I was thinking:

Randy's Noble
Rad's Fiat
Mike or Toby's BMW
and I'll bring my father-in-law's C4S

Can you clarify the "yes"? Thanks.

To get more participation, I will allow teams to share 1 car if both drivers on the team normally drive it in the championship.
Marcus and I will be sharing Sourpuss on our team also, because we compete normally with the car. So if you and Tad or you and Stacy or Tad and Stacy, want to form a team and drive the metro Civic that would be ok, but if all three were to be on the team I don't don't think it would be fair to use 1 car for three members so you would need to come up with another car. Since there are plenty of co-driver combo's out there this should be allowed but three people sharing one car would not be fair. Of course if any one of you were on a different team the car could be driven by three drivers.

Wouldn't the participation be the same. The co-drivers would just be on a different team.
This would allow more drivers to inter-mingle and make new friends. :D

So if you share a car does each team member do 2 stints in that car? Seems like that would be an advantage over teams with no co-drivers.

On the other hand, I think I'm in favor since I'm too lazy to actually prep my own car to race. Hmm.

I'm not sure if that would necessarily be an advantage. The car will be used for 24 runs assuming it's only used for one team.

Allowing a car twice, but not three times seems like a good compromise. Its an advantage sure, but it will make it a lot easier I'd think to come up with teams.

Yeah, the tires will get beat up... but having done a SCNAX cup before (extremely fun), the challenge is to learn new cars in 3 runs. The peeps who normally drive the car probably won't gain too much time, but a n00b to the car should gain a bunch in 6 vs. 3 runs.

Usually the scoring is pretty skewed by the driver and car indexes anyways, so I'm not too worried about it.

So two cars with four drivers... Each driver would only have to learn to drive 1 new car.
Doesn't seem fair.
