Front of the Line Access
Driver Instruction
Hot Lap in our Spec MINI
Event Parking
Limited Edition T-shirt
One (1) Raffle Ticket for chance to win exclusive prizes
Having been to one of these type things before, front of line access can be really nice if you can swing the extra $20. I'm planning on upgrading.

Is everyone who said they were going to this still going? Maybe we ought to meet up. I'm in the first group tomorrow (8-12:30).

I'm going to the afternoon session tomorrow. I went ahead and paid for the VIP upgrade which includes "event parking". I'm wondering what this means. Is there going to be signs directing you to a special parking area or? Maybe some of you who are going to today can shed some light on this. thanks

I went this morning. Parking was free. There is a 30 second very tight course. No timing. I was fortunate to be the first driver out so no waiting for me. The course was so tight that I didn't bother getting in line for any more runs, but there is a return line if you'd like more. I did enjoy talking to some of the Mini guys and learned some things about the car. Also, there were 10 or so customized Mini's on display. Appeared to be less than 100 people total for the Saturday morning session. If I wasn't so close to the venue, I would have been a bit disappointed. I was outa there by 9:30.

I was there this morning too. Like George said, parking was free, and there were few enough people there that "VIP" parking didn't really mean much. Basically what I got for the VIP thing was a ride in the souped up spec Mini (apparently it won its class at the Time Attack in Fontana last weekend), a tee shirt and you'll get to drive the manual-tranny Minis instead of the slushbox versions. You also have your own line, so instead of waiting for 40-50 people to go, you're waiting or maybe 4-6 people.

Thanks George and Kurt for the replies. I guess I need to lower my expectations a little. Oh well, it is always fun to race somebody else's car.
And I will get a t-shirt
