Hi George,

I just returned from two weeks out of town. I see registration is full for the practice event and a waiting list is started. Should I still mail a check to you at this late date or just show up to see if I can get in? Please let me know. thanks.

Couldn't hurt to send a check and get on the wait list. It will give you priority if you show up at the practice to fill spots left by no shows or last minute cancellations. Your check will be shred if you don't get in.

AXware registration for Sunday, Jan 10, 2010

Post by George Gage »

Hi Guys--

I was looking online to register for the upcoming Sunday competition event but AXware wasn't showing an event. Is there a glitch in the software or am I missing something?

Thanks,
George Gage

I'd wait for him to announce it, wouldn't want to have your paid registration wiped cuz he's still working on it.

Yeah, didn't really want people to start yet, but the moment I activated it, someone registered. But it's OK. In the process of updating the classes now with new classes and PAX numbers.

It doesn't look like one change is working, I think because it's not retroactive. The system is set to require unique numbers now. It wasn't before to allow for X-runs with your same number. If you want X-Runs now, add an X to your number, in addition to selecting the X Class when creating a car in your garage. For example I'd run 240 F125 and 240X XF125. It appears I may have to clear everyone's garages to make it work for the next event. The reason for this change is to prevent non-points card holders from registering with a points card holder's number.

It doesn't like non-numeric characters in the car number field.

Hmm, despite the error code, it does create the car in the garage, but then won't let you register it. And I do have digits only turned off. Time to email the programmer.......

Hmmm... I was able to register after re-adding my car back to the garage.

Rick,
Also, with the X idea, what if someone in ST put and X for X run, won't that end up being an STX? or will it be an XST? I think that is what happened to Nicole and Shauna's registration, unless they are really trying to run STX, then I''m wrong.

Nah, with so many hotshoes in ST, it's pretty easy for me to figure out how I stack up without having to do a bunch of math.
