Tom, beleiving that now is better than latter, and since online was available please tell Mandy I have paid my pledge on her breast walk page rather than risk forgetting my checkbook or not touching base.

My prayers are with you & your wife.

Per the run order 2 posts above, all FJ classes run 1st.

There is always FJC if you want it. When we had the separate kids course at El Toro, the Kalmans and I just opted by mutual agreement to keep the C's on the little course to help speed up the event. If any other C had preferred to run the big course, we'd gladly have jumped over there instead. At Fontucky we always just run the big course.

Sorry to everybody about Saturday's cancelation. Just so everyone is clear, the Sunday championship is still a go. The weather is expected to be better so no reason not to show up.

Thanks!!!

Would like to thank NO$ for the fun event today. Especially appreciated the 4 runs we had today. Our run group worked the first group which lasted 2 hours but our small run group (3rd--combined into the 2nd run group) lasted less than an hour. Hope this doesn't become a regular habit :o

Yes, everything Tony said! (Except that I got easier duty working in the second group). Course was a nice combination of slow/fast sections, and easy to decipher. Seemed awful narrow in places, and that's in an MR2...Corvette guys must've really felt like they were threading a needle. The downhill, off-camber decreasing radius turn before the slalom was great...made you think and do lots of stuff mid-turn to get positioned for the slalom.

Thanks for all the hard work, NO$-ers!

Just wondering why I got placed in "Time Only", instead of "Super Stock"--not that it really matters

8-) Nice driving, BTW. That was an exciting end to the day!

Aaron, don't feel too bad, the overall PAX results show me .691 out of 0th place!

Seb, you were only 0.001 off of Toby to podium in overall PAX. d'oh!

Nah, I just fired up the credit card, and let Jeff Wong & ProParts USA do the rest...The car feels great now, I can hack away to my heart's content!

Seriously though, the course suited my style, as in easy and not too technical. ;) I still left some time out there for sure, I blew the sweeper in the middle every time. Ken would have probably gotten a mid 54.

Agreed, it was a course where the person who held the gas down the most and didn't hit cones would win. There weren't opportunities to make up time by setting up or choosing a line. It favored the car as a factor more than the driver would on a more open course. I think i coulda done the 50.9 clean, I just got greedy.

Although I clearly prefer El Toro, I really enjoyed myself, the company, the competition, the 4 runs, + 4 X runs made for a satisfying day. Getting to try R compound tires thanks to the generousity of Rita Wilsey, and with coaching from Tom Phillips felt pretty good. Didn't have a perfect run, but did get to a high 59 in a vette. The only sad part is the handicap giveth and it taketh away. Had the second best numbers in Novice and placed 7th.

The question I have is how would a bump group have worked if I had run BSP as the only car and not Novice BSP?
