You're probably right. The NA was awful. The bumpstops were incorporated in the dust boots for the shocks. Big, hard rubber at the top. I'm glad I'm rid of them, the ex-Doganis, ex-Schenker Konis I have are NB shocks and mounts, which work much better than the various methods of converting NA shocks to NB mounts.

The current wording of the stock class shock allowances is the direct result of people stacking the shock with extra bump stops to get more spring rate.
I'm trying to remember which Honda driver got protested for that little trick...
