Complete coincidence Mako. If fact I went down there not even knowing if I was scheduled to appear. I never received a notice from the court when to appear. Thankfully, I checked the court's web site about a month ago and set an alarm in my phone for this morning. In the meantime, attempting to verify a court date, or even getting someone to answer the phone at the courthouse is next to impossible, so I went down there not knowing if I was on the docket or not. Turns out I was on the list. Not knowing a time to arrive, I just guessed. Walked in one minute before the judge took the stand. Ten minutes later I wished him a Happy New Year as my case was dismissed. Couldn't have gone better if I had planned it. :gpower:

Must be my lucky day. Just got my DL in the mail only 3 weeks after it expired and only 3 months after I sent in the money. :gpower:

I don't know if this was an aberration or not, but if I could postpone a court date until the week after Christmas and before the new year, I would do it. No hard facts of course, but the anecdotal evidence was pretty convincing.

You get in trouble a lot for an old guy
Actually George is only 31. But it's been a really gnarly 31 years. :)
