Keep plugging away. We have one of the quickest T3 S2k's in the country on the west coast. The track record for T3 is a 1:54.9. By an RX-8.

For comparisons sake... The T3 S2k CR has OE springs and bars, but shocks are open. Gets an ECU re-flash and has no cat. Minimum weight with driver is 3020lbs. The local hot shoe runs BFG R1s, 235 front, 255 rear - the same tire that won the Runoffs in T3 last year. 8-)

What Vince was talking about ... sometimes a chicane is added before Turn 1:

Just curious, was there any obstacles just before NASCAR 1 to slow down the cars? I've seen other organizations do it, just not sure if SCCA would do it too for the time trial group. Anyway, I wanted to go with my 335i because I wanted to see if the Dunlop tires alone will improve my lap time (and hopefully matching my S4 time). I did a 2:01.9xx in the 335i on stock Michelin RFTs, and a 1:59.0xx in the S4 on stock Dunlops last November. :D
Good times Vincent!.

Yes they had a 100 MPH speed limit through turns 1 and 2. I was entering turn 1 at a max. of 120 in my last session.

Here is a short excerpt clip from one of Karen's runs. The sessions were 20 minutes long.

That Trackpedia track records list is wrong. I have the T1 track record at ACS at 1:46.616. :!:

Ok...so there were speed limits for the "straight" in the oval and NASCAR 1 & 2? Hmm...I wonder if they will lift that speed limit in the future. I hate to watch my speeds in those areas. Last November when I ran there, I reached 140mph just before NASCAR 1, and was holding about 125mph through 1 & 2, and got back up to 130-135mph just before the transition into the infield.

during session 1 & 2, he wanted a speed limit in the turn of 100mph, so yes, we were braking going into the turn. He lifted the limit in session 3, but asked us to increase gradually. No limit on Sunday and every straight was a passing zone.

I ran a 1:46.932 at a track day with the Scuderia on A6 (old A6 not good for AX anymore). Sadly, my car is not T1 eligible, but the faster/lighter non-street legal F430 Challenge is, go figure.

This is a very nice and smooth driving by Karen. I would love to run track days with drivers like her, and not the typical over-the-limit rookies causing trouble to everyone in the advanced groups.

I think you should trade yours in... The T1 guys around here would welcome you with open arms.

I know of three good T1 cars for sale right now. One of them is local, but he is waffling on keeping the C5 or selling it and building a C6 T1 car.

And yes, the 430 Challenge car that was approved for T1 is a sore point with many, especially those racing the Runoffs. If a 430 Challenge car is legal then give us the C6 Z06 or even better the new 656 HP ZR-1.

The part I never got was how the GT3 Cup car gets stuck in GT-2, while the 430 gets to run in T1. :unimpressed:

Come one Rad, F430 Challenge car, give these boys something to whine about.

Well he has the 430 signed up in ASP for the Div as 199.. maybe he's still looking for a co-driver..

BTW, let me know if you guys ever want me to fix your usenames so they don't have cars and underscores in them.

In the hottest session of the day, they got a little greasy on corner exit a few times. Once enough to spin ever so slowly, luckily without anyone around and lots of hard surface too.

Next time, I'll check them out between session more closely.
Straight off the track, no cleaning, and no OPR:

This is tied into their login name (First, Last) on the main site. And I think they did that on purpose. I know Isley's always had his Car Make/Model in his last name, and Rad added "_" underscores to his first and last name. Don't know why but it's their choice.

Most of my OPR, after the fact, is from that spin I had.
Going into that session I did see that my fronts did have two rubber snakes going all the way around.
I neglected to check my rears though.

From watching the video you posted I would guess the OPR is from being super wide in the the sweepers and oval. ;) Out where the tire turds roam. Shorten the track up and your lap times will drop, and your tires might stay cleaner.

I helped set up that system Gio, i know how it works, I can also fix it on both sites.
