It's very possible the No $ members are being groomed by PSCC, Team Blew or CASOC. Who knows what evil lurks? }:)

This will be my first solo event. I have read the info for "newbies" and I want to make sure I know all that I need to know prior to this event, ie: where do we meet at the speedway? Basically, all the little things that are important. Thanks!

When you get to the main gate, tell them you are looking for the green lot. They will give you directions, but it is really simple. After the main gate , when the road splits, veer to the left , down a long straight, when the road turns right heading for the tunnel, turn left. The large lot on the left is where you want to be. Watch for the entry gate, sign the waivers, set up the course (ask anyone who is standing still what needs to be done or who to ask), reg and tech. If you need some additional info or help, find me (or Renee, or Yuki or anyone, actually) and I (we) will help walk you through it. If I am not at my motorhome or setting up tech, I shouldn't be to far away from a gold C4 Corvette.

Check out the topics posted by Leonard Cachola on this forum in the last day or so. He is the novice coordinator and there is also a novice walk......and get some instruction from senior members whenever possible (ask - for the most part we don't bite! }:) ).

The lot (Green lot) we run in is in the extreme SW corner of the California Speedway property - if you check it out on Google Earth, you can see the dark skid marks from courses past!
