Most of the corded tires are still on the wheels waiting to be replaced.
When we dismount a set of tires we keep the well used near corded tires for practice spares (you can make sets when you cord just one or two).
The corded ones that are not on wheels just need to go to the recycle center or get used to support the trailer when it is stored.
Tires make good engine seats for transporting engine blocks in the beds of pickup trucks. Some people even want our old tires for drifting.

The sideways lift is for storage or for building auto-x cars. It works good for motor swaps, cleaning the under chassis etc. It is not good for day to day parking. It takes about 2-3 hours to get a car on or off the lift including moving out all the stuff that is under the lift (and moving it back). All the stuff that stores under the lift is on wheels except for the car wheels and tires.

To put a car on the lift:

1) raise the empty lift.
2) drive car under the lift
3) Put wheel dollies on 3 or 4 of the wheels of the car.
4) spin car
5) slide car to the parallel position (not under the lift).
6) lower the lift.
7) put ramps between the car and lift deck surface
8) attach the guide lines to the wheels.
9) install all 4 wheel dollies (I have Go jacks)
10) pull the car up on the lift deck using the the guide lines
11) remove wheel dollies
12) raise the lift.

I figured it had to do with wheel dollies, but couldn't figure out how you got them off once the car was on the lift. I see now, those go-jacks are slick.
