What is the Blues Brothers reference suppose to mean?

btw. in real life Dan Aykroyd liked to drive FAST. He had a run in or two while we were filming The Blues Brothers.

If you remember the chase scene which sounds like you may have been involved in, there was the what appeard to be out of control and reckless run through the shopping center.

I "only" did the three month of concert and interior studio work at Universal Studios ... not the two months of mayhem in Chicago. But we got to see the dailies footage of the shopping center destructo derby. We got to see the footage of what I hope were stunt people almost getting run down.

I've got to find those photos of me on Blues Brothers ... like me at the bottom of the hole that the Nazimobile supposedly makes as it crashes to back to earth. A surprisingly big hole dug up on the back lot of Universal.

It's a trip when you watch an 80's movie and see Mako's name in the credits, pretty cool actually.

Better yet ... that's me at 1:55 ... "john" coming out of the mobile cat house! I was the long hair still photographer on that shoot ... and got drafted into that "scene." Most of those guys that I wave at and waiting there turn are other Brooks Institute of Photography students, ie. crew, helping out on this super low budget film ... for which we DID get school credit!

2:37 is my mom's kitchen, followed by a shot of our driveway and the reverse shot of our old living room windows. Not in this clip is our living room that was turned into a bedroom!

You forget; Wil used to write his name that way (in his radical youth?) :D

Actually I never did use just one "l" - I could never tell if I was using the silent one or not!
